Forestry Weather Station: Your All-in-One Fire Risk Sentinel in the Woods
Article source:Weather station time:2024-12-09 10:06:33 viewed:475times
There is a close causal relationship between fire risk and meteorological monitoring. Meteorological conditions directly influence the occurrence and spread of fires and are crucial influencing factors.
When the temperature is high, a large amount of water in vegetation and flammable materials evaporates, leading to a sharp reduction in water content. As a result, they become dry and flammable, and fires can break out easily. Moreover, high temperatures will accelerate the spread of fires and make the combustion more intense. When the humidity is low, flammable materials become even drier, which facilitates the spread of fires and increases the fire risk accordingly. Strong winds can be regarded as “accomplices.” They not only enlarge the contact area between flames and flammable materials, accelerating the spread, but also carry embers, triggering new fire points and expanding the affected area. In contrast, precipitation, such as rain and snow, can increase the water content of flammable materials and isolate oxygen, effectively reducing the fire risk.
Meteorological monitoring plays an important role. It collects real-time data on temperature, humidity, wind speed, and precipitation, inputs them into the warning model, and accurately assesses the fire risk level. Long-term recorded data helps to figure out the patterns of fire risk. After a fire breaks out, the monitoring information can assist firefighters in setting up isolation zones according to the wind direction, predicting the spread of the fire, and allocating firefighting forces.
The Forestry Weather Station integrates meteorological sensors, collectors, a solar power supply system, pole brackets, and a cloud platform. It requires no debugging and is easy to install, with applications spanning multiple industries such as meteorology and forestry.
The low-power collector has a static power consumption of less than 1 mA, demonstrating excellent energy-saving performance. It comes with standard GPRS networking and can also be expanded with Bluetooth and wired transmission. There is an optional 7-inch Android touch screen, which is convenient for operation. The MPPT technology for solar charging management boosts the efficiency by 20%. The three-meter carbon steel bracket is extremely stable, and the SMS alarm provides timely warnings.
It has a wide measurement range and high accuracy, with strict error control for environmental temperature, humidity, wind speed, and rainfall. The enterprise has excellent qualifications, meets the standards for overall machine calibration, and holds multiple certifications.
It is equipped with host computers, apps, and a cloud platform, each with its own unique functions. The stand-alone version software allows flexible local processing; the mobile app enables real-time monitoring; and the cloud platform supports multi-device login, providing one-stop services including real-time display, map viewing, and data export, making every effort to safeguard forest safety.
