The Power Quality Measurement is a high-precision testing instrument designed to detect power grid waveform distortion, harmonic content, and three-phase unbalance, while also measuring various electrical parameters such as voltage, current, power, and frequency. It utilizes clamp-on transformers to enable live measurements without interrupting the power supply and features vector diagram display and flicker analysis capabilities, making it ideal for on-site power quality testing and data logging.
The Power Quality Measurement is a high-precision instrument specifically designed to detect power quality issues—such as waveform distortion, harmonic content, and three-phase unbalance—within the power grid, while also offering electrical parameter testing and vector analysis functions. It accurately measures parameters including voltage, current, active power, reactive power, phase angle, power factor, and frequency. For current measurement, it employs a clamp-on transformer method, allowing operators to conduct tests safely and conveniently without disconnecting the current circuit; clamp-on probes with various ranges are available as options to suit different measurement requirements.
The Power Quality Measurement enables comprehensive recording and data analysis of power quality parameters. It measures and analyzes the quality of AC power supplied from the public grid to the user end, specifically covering frequency deviation, voltage deviation, permissible three-phase voltage unbalance, and grid harmonics. The instrument can display single-phase voltage and current waveforms or simultaneously display three-phase voltage and current waveforms. All test interfaces feature a screen-lock function to facilitate reading and data analysis. It measures short-term flicker (Pst) and long-term flicker (Plt) and monitors load fluctuations, analyzing how various electrical devices affect public grid power quality under different operating conditions. Additionally, it logs and stores trend data for electrical parameters such as voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, frequency, and phase.
The Power Quality Measurement displays vector diagrams of the measured voltage and current, allowing users to verify the correct wiring of metering equipment by analyzing these diagrams. This feature is highly practical for on-site power usage inspections and the verification of metering device wiring. Certain models of the Power Quality Measurement feature built-in high-capacity data storage with adjustable recording intervals ranging from 3 seconds to 10 minutes, meeting the requirements for long-term monitoring at test points. Typically equipped with a USB interface, the instrument allows for the convenient transfer of data to a backend management computer; it can also work with powerful data management software to upload real-time sampled data directly to the computer for comprehensive and rapid processing. Some models offer optional Wi-Fi or Bluetooth modules, enabling remote control of the instrument via a tablet or smartphone.
The Power Quality Measurement utilizes a large color LCD screen and features a Chinese-language interface with text-based prompts, ensuring a user-friendly human-machine interaction experience. Widely used in applications such as on-site testing of power systems, power quality assessment, verification of harmonic mitigation effectiveness, and electricity usage inspections, the instrument serves as a vital tool for power operations and maintenance personnel in ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
