Airport visibility sensors measurement principle:
Airport visibility sensors are forward scatter sensors that can be used for demanding weather measurements and are able to measure visibility within an airport environment.Haze is composed of many tiny water droplets and various fine particles in the air. Infrared light emitted from the light source is scattered by water droplets and then detected by a highly sensitive detector. Within a certain range, the more water droplets or other tiny particles are detected, the greater the intensity of the scattered light. The light scattering intensity is converted into a standard visibility value through embedded software calculation.

The transmitting and receiving units are installed in the same chassis as the controller unit, which is small in size, light in weight, compact in structure, and easy to install and debug;
