Wireless garden environment weather monitoring station, scientific management of gardens

With economic growth and urban expansion, landscaping is receiving more and more attention. Plants play a role in gardens in purifying air, reducing pollution, regulating climate and reducing noise. Therefore, finding a scientific and economical way to manage gardens efficiently has become an important goal.
Through the application of IoT technology, multiple sensors can be deployed in gardens to monitor key indicators such as soil moisture, ambient temperature, humidity and air quality. With the help of data analysis in the background, irrigation plans, pruning schedules, pest control measures, and adjustments to the growing environment can be made accordingly to the characteristics of different plants. Such a practice aims to reduce management costs, improve the efficiency and scientific nature of garden maintenance, and promote garden management to high-quality development.
The Wireless Garden Environment Meteorological Monitoring Station is a multi-functional automatic monitoring device designed for the agricultural sector, capable of measuring standard meteorological parameters such as rainfall, wind direction, wind speed, temperature, barometric pressure and humidity. These monitoring devices are located at various key locations to collect the required variety of meteorological data and send the information to a central monitoring and analysis system via data transmission terminals. In this way, managers can remotely access real-time meteorological data from various monitoring points without the need to be physically present.
In the meteorological centre, staff are able to perform a number of functions, including viewing the location of monitoring nodes, displaying real-time data, conducting data recalls, querying historical data and operation records, performing time period statistics, curve analyses, managing monitoring points as well as user login management. The system is designed with an early warning mechanism for abnormal situations. Once a problem is detected, an alert will be issued through various means to remind the management to pay attention and take corresponding measures.
In a weather station, various interface devices transmit data by connecting to different ports of the Data Transfer Unit (DTU), such as RS232, RS485. These data are sent back to the monitoring platform, also known as the data business system, through the operator's network for data display and storage. The monitoring platform is also capable of automatically executing warnings and alarms based on preset alarm strategies, and communicating the alarm information to the relevant responsible personnel in a timely manner through various communication methods, such as SMS, email, and broadcast.
DTU, as a data transmission solution, provides an easy way of communication, as long as there is operator network coverage, data transmission can be realised, thus effectively reducing the need for wiring and related costs.
