A Road Weather Station is an automated observation system installed along highways specifically designed to monitor various meteorological elements and road conditions that affect traffic safety.

As automated weather stations installed along highways, their monitoring indicators are targeted and directly serve driving safety.

They also monitor road surface conditions, such as road temperature and status, determining whether the road surface is dry, wet, flooded, snowy, or icy.
