The instrument is primarily used for testing the volt-ampere characteristics of outdoor solar cell arrays and modules, enabling rapid testing of solar cell operating characteristics under natural light conditions, providing testing assurance for the design, acceptance, and maintenance of solar power plants.
photovoltaic testers, also known as a current-voltage-power curve analyzer, is a testing tool used by quality inspection departments, manufacturers, and research institutions. It is mainly used for testing the I-V characteristics of solar cell modules and arrays, as well as for the design, acceptance, and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants. This instrument supports testing under natural light conditions and can measure parameters such as voltage, current, power, irradiance, and temperature. It has temperature and light intensity correction functions, and the testing error is controlled within 0.5%.
In terms of technical performance, the photovoltaic testers instrument has a voltage measurement range covering 10V to 1500V and a current detection range of 0.01A to 20A, capable of testing photovoltaic strings up to 30kW. The instrument employs integrated packaging technology, with a clear user interface and support for switching between Chinese and English. Users can easily complete a full I-V characteristic scan of a single module or an entire string within 5 seconds by simply connecting the device. After testing, a test report containing I-V curves, P-V curves, and all key parameters can be directly exported via USB interface with a single click, greatly improving the efficiency of on-site inspections and batch testing.
Designed using ARM technology and equipped with a low-power electronic load, the instrument can operate independently of a 220V power grid and laptop, requiring only battery power, making it suitable for field operations. The device can display key parameters including short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, maximum power, maximum power point voltage and current, fill factor, and conversion efficiency. During testing, the instrument can simultaneously collect environmental data such as irradiance and module backsheet temperature. Combined with the STC conversion model, it ensures accurate and reliable data even under complex lighting conditions. This instrument is primarily used for on-site acceptance and operation and maintenance testing of power plants, and can also be used for outdoor verification testing of photovoltaic modules. It is widely applied in the acceptance and daily operation and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants.
