The Road Weather Station is specifically designed for highway traffic scenarios. It is a new generation of traffic meteorological monitoring equipment that highly integrates multi-element sensors and related electrical components. Each sensor component can be directly connected to the micro control unit to achieve data sampling, processing, and uploading. It realizes integrated applications in all aspects, from the structure to the system composition.
It can conduct 24-hour monitoring of various meteorological elements and road surface conditions simultaneously, including air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, road surface temperature, visibility, as well as the states of the road surface such as dry, damp, wet, snowy, and icy. Moreover, it can also monitor the thickness of accumulated water, the thickness of ice, the thickness of snow, and the degree of slipperiness. Additionally, it can flexibly add or reduce monitoring functions such as solar radiation, PM2.5, PM10, noise, etc. according to requirements, and supports customized services.
It is equipped with an environmental monitoring cloud platform, which provides functions such as data viewing, over-limit warning, as well as data storage and export, providing important references for highway traffic, construction operations, and disaster prevention.
It is convenient to install. There is no need for a dedicated basic vertical pole, and it can be installed by using existing facilities such as lamp poles and monitoring poles beside the highway, which greatly saves the installation cost.
The power supply and transmission are flexible. It supports two power supply methods, namely mains power and solar power, and can be used once plugged in. It supports both wired and wireless transmission, and can transmit the measurement results to the data terminal.
The appearance of the equipment is made of corrosion-resistant materials and undergoes a plastic spraying treatment. Even in continuous rainy weather, it can prevent the equipment from rusting and peeling, and comprehensively protect the safety of the internal components.
