Vehicle-Mount Weather Station by Fengtu: Integrated Monitoring for Drone Meteorological Safety
Article source:Weather station time:2025-07-02 09:12:50 viewed:228times
The Vehicle-Mount Weather Station from Fengtu serves as a professional meteorological monitoring device, providing critical support for meteorological inspections during drone takeoffs and landings.
Fengtu's Vehicle-Mount Weather Station features a highly integrated design. Take the FT-CZ5S as an example: it employs a five-element integrated sensor to conduct real-time observations of meteorological elements such as wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure. This integrated design not only reduces the device's volume and weight, facilitating mobile monitoring when installed on vehicles, but also minimizes signal interference between components, enhancing the accuracy and stability of data collection. These meteorological elements are all crucial during drone takeoffs and landings. Wind speed and direction directly affect the drone's flight trajectory and stability—excessively high wind speeds or sudden changes in wind direction may cause the drone to deviate from its planned route or even lose control. Suitable temperature and humidity conditions help maintain the normal operation of the drone's electronic equipment, preventing malfunctions caused by excessive temperatures or high humidity. Changes in atmospheric pressure, meanwhile, are associated with weather system variations, providing important references for predicting weather trends during drone flights.
In terms of wind speed and direction measurement, this Vehicle-Mount Weather Station emits continuous frequency-modulated ultrasonic signals and detects them by measuring relative phases. This ultrasonic principle enables starting-free wind speed measurement, meaning it can accurately measure wind speeds regardless of how low they are. In complex and changeable meteorological environments, it can provide precise wind speed and direction data for drone takeoffs and landings.
The sensor housing is made of imported ABS material with a protection rating of IP65 or higher, effectively resisting harsh environments such as salt spray. The FT-CZ5S also integrates three 120° wide-angle cameras and is equipped with host computer software, allowing real-time viewing of video feeds and monitoring data on PC terminals to help operators comprehensively grasp on-site meteorological conditions. Its Beidou-GPS dual-mode positioning function achieves a maximum accuracy of 0.1 meters, not only determining the weather station's location but also providing more precise positioning for meteorological data in the drone flight area.
